All K-9 Teams receive a minimum of 160 hours of field training.All K-9 teams are required to maintain 8 hours per week of reinforcement training.This insures that the client is getting a reliable and well trained K-9 Team. Of these teams only the most qualified dog and handler are chosen for school Narcotics Detail.
Due to the unforeseen circumstances that arise when working in an environment with young adults and children, it is paramount that the dog and handler have the right temperament and skill to adjust to the unexpected. Teams are trained to detect illegal and prescription drugs within lockers, backpacks, purses and any other areas requested by school administration.
