TITLE: “How the Performing Arts Positively Impact Youth in Treatment”
SPECIAL GUESTS: Glen Zaugg President and CEO of Heritage Schools in Provo Utah

Allen and Dr. Melody Fox discuss with Glen Zaugg Heritage School’s use of the performing arts as a tool to boost the therapeutic treatment of adolescents. 40 to 60 students participate in a full length Broadway production. The students receive professional direction, choreography and music coaching and instruction during the rehearsal process. The rewards are significant; a boost in self-esteem helps them in their therapeutic treatment, helps them in investing in treatment and change and gives them a sense of accomplishment by doing something they probably wouldn’t have the opportunity to do otherwise.
