Dr. Michelle’s clinical experience, training, education, consulting and radio and television work has helped individuals, couples and family members to “detox from the drama in their lives” and work through their most difficult times.
Dr. Michelle has helped couples, families and individuals create positive life changes for over 12 years. Her specialties are working with relationship problems, stress and depression management, self esteem, pain management and other related issues.
In the Los Angeles area, Dr. Michelle has worked in individual as well as clinical and hospital settings. Her work includes leading family and individual clinical groups for “A Touch of Care,” giving individual psychotherapy to patients at “Meadowbrook Manor” psychiatric facility and leading adolescent and family groups for the “First Step” program at Northridge Hospital. She currently has a private practice office in West Los Angeles. Dr. Michelle is a full member of the American Psychological Association, The Los Angeles County Psychological Association and a lifetime member of the National Honor Society in Psychology. She graduated Magna cum Laude in her Doctorate and her Master’s program at Pepperdine University.
Dr. Michelle is currently the “relationship expert” on LAtalkradio.com on her relationship/psychology show, “On The Couch With Dr. Michelle.” Currently, Dr. Michelle is also a fill-in morning show air personality for KRTH 101 FM. Her other media work includes, having her own morning show on LITE 92.7 FM, and hosting lifestyle reports for KNBC TV and the Financial News Network. Her no nonsense, yet thoughtful and comedic approach combined with the effective therapeutic techniques encourages people to understand themselves and others and how to work through their issues and create better relationships.
