Did you know that annually more than 3 million reports of child abuse are made in the United States involving more than 6 million children? (Childhelp statistic). And what happens if the abuse they suffered during childhood is left untreated?  They suffer from mental health issues and disorders such as low self-esteem, anger, anxiety, and depression, just for starters.

What We’re Afraid to Ask dares to pursue the 365 questions most survivors of abuse are reluctant to ask, such as, “How do we know what our Lord’s divine purpose is for our lives when we had parents who did everything in their power to extinguish our true characters?”

We use our knowledge of psychology and biblical theology as a tool to help people recover from abuse understanding it is God who completely renews our minds and spirits.

This groundbreaking book will bring truth to the false beliefs we might be holding on to about God and ourselves.
