David Sack, MD - Parenting the "Troubled" Teenby Allen Cardoza

Dr. David Sack, MD, the President and CEO of Elements Behavioral Health, recently talked about troubled adolescent behavior with Allen Cardoza and Dr. Melody Foxx from Answers4thefamilyblog.com on the L.A. Radio Talk Show.

This board licensed psychiatrist is qualified in addiction psychiatry and medicine. The focus of his work today is on parenting issues associated with adolescent drug abuse.

The discussion focused on why teenagers are tempted by drugs and what can be done about it.

Interventions May Save Lives

During the interview, Dr Sack mentioned various signs that will assist mothers and fathers recognize the deep-rooted reasons behind their child’s addictions.
Parents have to communicate their concern to stop the issue from escalating.

Teens are known for exploring new things, but if they are demonstrating a radical change in behavior, it’s a parent’s duty to look into the reasons for it.

Although intervening in situations involving drug treatments, abuse or truancy, might cause your youngster to dislike you, this intervention might be necessary to save their lives.

It is very important for fathers and mothers to intervene as soon as possible.
