The Global Adolescent Project, a non-profit project in Haiti, relocates teenage orphans from the dangers of displaced people camps. Her project moves adolescents out of their tents and offers them safe housing.
Dr. Sobel is a accredited psychologist in private practice in West Los Angeles, CA. She works with single people, couples, families, and communities, and she specializes in dealing with trauma, neurotic problems and addictions. She has consulted in the progress of treatment programs all over the United States and overseas.
The doctor has been part of the nonprofit world since thirteen years of age when she worked in recreation programs for physically disabled kids.
The talk show discussed:

2. How there is a very high incidence of rape within Haiti among women and teenage girls, particularly for those living in the camps.
