TITLE: “One Kid at a Time, a Single Dad, a Boy in Foster Care and an Adoption”
SPECIAL GUEST: Jake Dekker
More than one hundred thousand American children are in need of a forever home, less ten-year-old Danny for whom Jake Dekker rescued from the nightmare of Foster Care.
Jake Dekker shares with Allen and our audience his book, One Kid at a Time, which recounts the heartwarming story about a single, successful man who adopted a child no one else wanted, and has made it a priority to share the challenges we face and difficulties the troubled Foster Care system places on our nation.
Most of all, he forces us to acknowledge all the American-born children who have been abandoned, abused, and neglected, desperate to be given a chance.
