Trudi Nagel Morrison – Founder/Producer
Generation Connex evolved directly from Trudi’s travels to Israel, the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Turkey, meeting young adults around the world, eager to learn about each other.
Trudi and her husband, Richard, live in Portland, Oregon with their yellow lab Brie. They have a blended family of five children, ages 23 to 30, living full lives, often at their house. Having made it through the ‘wonder years’ and the ‘wonder what were we thinking’ moments, she is now able to pursue a master’s degree program in Strategic Communications in the School of Journalism at the University of Oregon. She has a degree in Psychology from Pitzer College and a California Secondary Teaching credential from the University of San Francisco. Trudi is also a lifetime member of the FBI-Oregon Citizens’ Academy.
Generation Connex encourages leadership among our most important resource – our youth. Generation Connex has evolved directly from young adults around the world, eager to learn about each other. Only through connection and education is there hope that the next generations will learn to live side by side, understand, respect and appreciate their differences and their similarities, and find peace and harmony worldwide.
President Obama in Germany, June -2009
Addressing the youth of the world in his speech:
“You, more than anyone, have the ability to re-imagine the world, to remake this world”.
