TITLE: “ResponsAble: Lessons About Life and Making a Difference”
SPECIAL GUESTS: Matthew Hagee, Author and Pastor at the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio
Read More About – OpenMinds.com
As a young pastor in today’s world, Matt Hagee recognizes that there are some things in our personal lives, in the church, in our communities, and in our world that need changing. Matt shares with Allen, Dr. Melody and our listeners the challenging task of bringing transformation to our world.
He encourages readers to believe that with God’s help, if they have recognized a place where change is needed, they can change it. The circumstances of the moment may not be of their choosing, but how they respond to them is their choice. So the only natural question to ask is: What do we do now? In each of five key areas—personal life, society, finances, education and politics—this book will give the reader seven steps to a lasting change and transformation. Readers will discover that all of these things are connected. They are like the waves created in a small pond when a large rock is thrown in. At first there seems to be a bit of a disturbance, and then the circles get larger and larger until the entire surface of the water is changed.
So, where is the rock that needs to disturb these waters? Where is the agent of change who is waiting to be engaged? That’s where you come in! If we are going to change our world, our nation, our politics, our economy, our society, our education, our current situation, and our quality of life tomorrow, you are going to have to get in the water. The time has come for a turnaround, and being “response-able” begins with you.
