ABOUT GRAHAM ANDERSON
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. Attended the University of Utah, studied Chinese, Business, and Asian Studies. My professional career started on the institutional trading floor at a $50B regional bank, Zions Bancorporation, based in Salt Lake City, Utah with locations all over the west. After an informative and enriching time that included being in the middle of the “Credit Crisis” I left Zions Bank to work for NBC Universal.
My time with NBC Universal started at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and then the 2009 Super Bowl in Tampa, FL. After the Olympics and Super Bowl, I worked on tv shows like, Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and the Dr. Oz Show, while also working with the NBC Universal Corporate Communications team during the Comcast acquisition from General Electric. Eventually moved over to work with the Telemundo Group (owned by NBC Universal) on the Sales/Marketing team specifically focused on the Mun2 Network (Hispanic Pop Culture Cable Channel).
Left NBC Universal/Telemundo in late 2010 to utilize my Sales/Marketing and Banking experience with American HealthCare Lending, focusing on Customer Engagement and Marketing. Spent a great deal of time in the behavioral health industry. Attended multiple NATSAP conferences, including the 2013 National Conference in Irvine, California. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

“Helping Families Navigate the Insurance System When Dealing with Therapeutic Programs“
Accessing the benefits a patient is entitled to under his or her health plan contract requires an understanding of the most important factors that affect access to care and reimbursement. Unfortunately, most parents may not not have the time or expertise to understand the system or the policy language needed to deal with this by themselves.
Linda McKinney, explains to our audience the techniques she uses to help parents successfully access benefits for their teens who require out-patient, in-patient, partial hospitalization, day treatment, and residential treatment programs.
ABOUT LINDA MCKINNEY
Linda McKinney has 23 years of experience working with “youth at risk”.
After 3 years with West Shield Adolescent Services, she worked with two highly respected “outdoor “wilderness” therapeutic programs – College Health Enterprises and Aspen Achievement Academy where she served as an admissions director. A certified alcohol and drug counselor, in 2000 she ran a detox unit at Tustin Hospital.
Linda’s passion has always been working with teens so she went back to work at College Health Enterprises which has since changed its name to Aspen Education Group. Most recently she has worked with TRAILS Carolina training the admissions department and is once again transporting at-risk youth at WestShield and helping parents find the right program for their teens.
Linda is highly skilled at securing insurance benefits for parents in crisis and guiding them through the process. She is licensed in 6 states to work with adolescents.
