Interview by Allen Cardoza
November 20, 2012

Michelle Gilman, of Fusion Academy, spoke to host Allen Cardoza from Answers For The Family on L.A. Talk Radio about what it means to create “better humans on the planet,” as well as high academic achievers.  She described her school’s alternative approach to today’s mainstream education.

Fusions’ focus on nurturing love, happiness, self-esteem, and high academic achievement in young people is providing outstanding results. One of the reasons is allowing each student to work at their own pace.

What Is Fusion Academy?

Fusion Academy’s mission is to provide an educational environment for a student that stretches beyond academic proficiency to create better, more compassionate human beings. Fusion Academy holds a philosophy that creating a better human on the planet is a much higher calling in the long run.

Kids who are more confident, more self-aware, and more self-accepting of their own strengths and weaknesses are destined for success in all areas of their lives.

During the course of the interview, Gilman described exactly how Fusion Academy was able to create such unprecedented results in education.  Cardoza also related the transformation that he saw in his own son after joining Fusion Academy.  Today his son takes complete ownership of his schoolwork, gets straight A’s, and is proud of his academic achievements.

Gilman also shared heartwarming stories about underachieving students who graduated with high academic grades and went on to enjoy great success.
