SPECIAL GUEST: Jonathan Evans & Dr. Liberty Eberly

“Founded in 2014, InnovaTel Telepsychiatry has built an impressive platform to deliver clinical services to underserved communities by leveraging innovative teleconferencing, video and voice technology, while also improving clinical practice standards.

By focusing on a need created from a shortage of psychiatrists in community mental health settings, rural areas that experience difficulty recruiting and retaining qualified psychiatrists, can now receive excellent care.

InnovaTel’s management team have many years of experience as clinicians and administrators in Behavioral Health. Not only is this group committed to a recovery focused approach to treatment, their goal is that each consumer will be treated as if they were a family member—an almost extinct notion in today’s typlical mental health system.

Participating in sessions from the comfort of their own homes, patients can receive treatment without the stress of travel or up-close, face-to-face meetings in clinical settings. This approach also allows practitioners to increase productivity, and have more availability to actually practice psychiatry.

In our interview with Jon Evans and Dr. Liberty Eberly, they will share how InnovaTel’s founders came to believe in the viability of the telepsychiatry model, as well as real live success stories from the both practitioners and patients.

Where will future lead this adventurous group, and others like them? Jon and Dr. Liberty believe telepsychiatry will not only revolutionize the field, it will revitalize it to the benefit of all involved.
