TITLE:  International Child Rescues

Special Guests: Bo Hopkins, Logan Clarke and TJ McCormack

Guests: Bo Hopkins, actor, producer with over 120 film and TV credits, including the movie classic, ’American Graffiti’, renowned International Investigator and author Logan Clarke and LA talk radio’s own radio host extraordinaire, TJ McCormack. Listen in to subjects ranging from old Hollywood to international child rescues. And even a surprise celebrity call in!  This show was fantastic!

Bo Hopkins has appeared in several films, including The Bridge at Remagen, The Wild Bunch, The Getaway, American Graffiti, White Lightning, Radioland Murders, The Killer Elite, Midnight Express, More American Graffiti and A Small Town in Texas. When Gretchen Corbett left The Rockford Files television series in 1978, Hopkins as “John Cooper” replaced her character as Rockford’s attorney for several episodes, arguably Hopkins’ most memorable role in well over a hundred TV and movie appearances.

Bo Hopkins first major role in a film was in White Lightning, a 1973 cult classic that also starred Burt Reynolds and Ned Beatty. Bo Hopkins played Roy Boone, Gator McClusky’s (played by Burt Reynolds) sidekick during much of the film.

Jerry Reed played Bama McCall in the sequel to “White Lightning” called “Gator”. Jerry Reed and Bo Hopkins bore a striking resemblance to one another, hence they played brothers Joe Hawkins and Tom Hawkins in the film “What Comes Around”.

Captain Midnight has a man-crush on Hopkins’s The Killer Elite character.

In 1981, he appeared in the first season of the prime-time drama Dynasty as Matthew Blaisdel. Hopkins’ many guest appearances on television include episodes of Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Virginian, Nichols, The Rat Patrol, The Mod Squad, Hawaii Five-0, Charlie’s Angels, Fantasy Island, The A-Team, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, The Fall Guy, Crazy Like a Fox and Murder She Wrote.

Hopkins has a role in the video game Nuclear Strike. He plays Colonel LeMonde, a mercernary who steals a nuclear weapon. The ‘Strike’ team tracks him through Southeast Asia.

LOGAN CLARKE and his Task Force have investigated and solved some of the most noted cases in the United States, involving every situation from high-profile homicides to airline disasters. Worldwide cases have taken him to the Middle East, Asia, Central America and Europe for business and private clients from all walks of life. He operates internationally, from a diplomatic level down to individual problems.

Mr. Clarke was the recipient of the World Investigators Network “Investigator of the Year” Award in Dublin, Ireland in 1997 for his outstanding achievements in the investigative field and is currently their District Governor for the Western United States. He is a former District Governor for the California Association of Licensed Investigators, the largest detective organization in the world.

One of the Director’s specialties is the ‘Reverse Sting’ — tracking down con men who have defrauded millions of dollars and stinging them to recover the money for his client. In addition, the Task Force has retrieved more than 250 children throughout the world and is considered one of the foremost authorities in this field.

After a 20 year career as a stand up comedian and actor, T.J. McCormack is ready to be heard around the world on his new LA Talk Radio program, The World of T.J. McCormack.

T.J. grew up in White Plains, New York, a suburb of New York City. His heroes were Steve Martin, Laurel and Hardy, George Carlin and Woody Allen. A student of comedy, he started performing while still in high school. After a few years learning the art and science of comedy, T.J. was on the road playing nightclubs and universities throughout the USA, performing in each of the lower 48 states.

After nearly 10 years, T.J. found himself aboard cruise ships, where he met the best damn little British dancer in the world, his future wife, Andrea.

In 1999, they moved to Los Angeles where Andrea had signed with an all-girl pop group I*5. While she was on tour with the likes of Britney Spears and Nsync, T.J. was performing and acting on television and in films while playing in Las Vegas with The Beach Boys, Celine Dion and many others.

T.J. has also been a featured performer at the Montreal Comedy Festival, was the host of Woodstock ’99 and has appeared on several television shows as both an actor and a comedian.

Talk Radio has always been a passion for T.J., and this new show on LA Talk Radio is a natural progression as he looks to further explore comedy on a larger scale, while observing life through the eyes of a worldwide audience.
