15 years ago, Columbus Short was one of Hollywood’s brightest rising stars. He was young, talented, and hard-working. He quickly became well-known for his role in movies like Stomp the Yard, This Christmas, and Cadillac Records. In 2012 he started getting even more attention when he was cast as Harrison in the hit TV show, Scandal. Unfortunately, personal issues surrounding drug use kept Columbus from reaching his full potential. Over the last several years, he has struggled to make a comeback, but his dedicated fans are still holding out hope that he will return to the spotlight. ABOUT COLUMBUS SHORT

Born in Kansas City, Missouri Columbus , started entertaining at the age of three, by putting on shows for his folks’ enjoyment. His family later relocated to Los Angeles where, by his early teens. His mother, Janette, runs a talent agency there.

Columbus landed work in such major television commercial campaigns and in his a senior in high school, he was offered an opportunity to graduate two months early in order to see the world with the traveling production of the Broadway show, “Stomp!” After a couple of years on the road with that famed dance troop, she joined Britney Spears’ “In the Zone” tour as a choreographer “. Columbus came off the road to pursue his primary passion of acting. His motion picture credits include You Got Served, War of the Worlds, Save the Last Dance 2, This Christmas and Stomp the Yard, and Whiteout. In addition, he has guest-starred on TV shows like ER, Judging Amy, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
