The Living Centered Program is Onsite’s core program. As the name suggests, the program is designed to help you bring your life back to center.

This 6½-day program has at its foundation experiential group process supplemented by education and action for change. The first days of the program focus on the importance of knowing yourself, how you have become blocked from being all you can be, how you may avoid looking at yourself and how the sum of your past experiences may be affecting you today.

The bulk of the program is spent reconnecting with yourself. This process may include identifying and expressing feelings, improving self-worth, identifying patterns of self-sabotage, identifying and working through blocks to intimacy in relationships with others and yourself, and celebrating successes. The ultimate goal is to reestablish congruence between your feelings, values and actions. The program gives you the opportunity to make sure the person you intend to be is the person you are. Feeling, thinking and action become more balanced. Finally, the last day is spent formulating an action plan… practical next steps to operationalizing balance and congruence into everyday life. Armed with a new range of options, more choices are available for improving relationships and living the life you desire.

The Living Centered Program is not designed to treat primary addiction. Rather, it is a program for self-improvement and self-worth. Research demonstrating the effectiveness of this program is available. Our registration process includes a screening by our clinical staff to make sure the Living Centered Program is safe and appropriate for your needs. Onsite’s unique retreat-type community setting provides a safe environment for selfdiscovery, practicing new behaviors, setting boundaries, avoiding distractions, and being nurtured with comfortable surroundings and nutritious meals.

About “Reconstruction”

Offered on select dates, this is a 10 hour re-enactment of a person’s life conducted by a reconstruction team. A “star” has been selected in advance to do intensive work. Through your participation in the star’s reconstruction, feelings are awakened and your life patterns revealed so that change can occur.
In the Living Centered Program, special emphasis is placed on:

  • Relationships.
  • Understanding intimacy.
  • Medicators and distractors.
  • Affirmation and forgiveness.
  • Family of origin and generational influences.
  • Identification, expression and appropriate use of feelings.
  • Unlocking creativity and awareness through self-examination.
  • Balancing thought, feeling and action.
  • Making choices and expanding options.
